Spring is Close

Well everybody the sun has been in out for back-to-back days!

SPRING IS ON ITS WAY

Things are good here in Washington, busy as ever. Little bit of school, lots of running and even more work.

Asher and I spoke the other day and decided that we are gonna work hard to visit the midwest this Christmas, so that is something to look forward too. We will have to see how long I can get off of work, as well as our circumstances around that time as far as what Ash has going.

As far as running goes, here is some footage from out track workout(s) Saturday. It was an exciting day to say the least... For the first time our coach gave us 2 pretty intense track sessions in the same day. This is unusual as we normally only do two-three in a week. It was a beautiful day, a bit windy, but much better than the usual rain... so we will take it.

Work was particularly intense this week. We have a company commander change of command coming up so, as part of that, we have to inventory everything on the property book that the current commander has signed for (about 35 million dollars worth of goods). Well, long story short, during this whole process a soldier decided to snag something and put it in his little pocket. The aftermath was that the item of course came up missing, and the entire company did a 100% shakedown. Which meant we all stayed onsite and awake until it turned up. I slept about 75 minutes that night, it wasn't to much fun.

Live and learn... next time the process will be much slower and much more controlled.

Well, its time for me to eat one of Asher's delicious meals and get after another week.

Miss everybody and hope you all are well.
